Hello Dons!

As a member of the class of 2021, this is the last issue of the Forge I’ll have the pleasure of working on. Despite this hectic year, I’m so proud of this year’s Forge team for covering the chaos and being flexible in these ever-changing times. This year has been challenging but the writers remained stoic and produced some of the best work The Forge has ever seen. We collaborated in elevating the paper as a whole with the use of our online platform and producing more articles weekly. I’ve had the opportunity to work on this paper for the past two years, and this year I had the honor of co-leading it. I hope to continue working in journalism in the next chapter of my life, at college. I’m so excited to see what becomes of the Forge next year. Thank you, Emerson, Mrs.Cloutier, and all the talented writers for your support, creativity, and hard work.
