Op-Ed Statement

As the voice of Santa Barbara High, we are obligated to consider publishing student-written op-eds (opposite the editorial). When editing op-eds, we edit for brevity, clarity, quality, and accuracy. We appreciate receiving the opinion of the student body, but all submitted articles are subject to peer and advisor review.

The Forge does not publish articles that contain slander, libel, bullying, harassment, or inciting. With 110 years of experience and excellence under our belt, The Forge strives to continue to publish true and high-quality pieces.
