Congratulations to the six teams at Santa Barbara Highschool who have won the CIF Southern Section Academic Award! SBHS has come in the first place, with the most awards out of all high schools in the Southern Section. The award is given to the team with the highest average cumulative GPA in the CIF Southern Section for each sport and was won by the following teams: Girls Cross Country, Boys Soccer, Girls Track and Field, Girls Volleyball, Boys Water Polo, and Girls Water Polo. We also want to congratulate the other six teams who finished in second place: Boys Basketball, Girls Lacrosse, Girls Swim and Dive, Girls Tennis, Boys Track and Field, and Boys Volleyball.
