With the end of year coming to an end, it’s only fitting that the graduating seniors of the class of 2023 were celebrated at The Reach Higher Event, which was a hit! Not only was there an appearance from the college and career center’s own Mr. Briseno on DJ duty, but one could also feel the excitement buzzing from the current seniors. Santa Barbara City College (SBCC) representatives passing out SBCC themed goodies, balloons and leis celebrating the different pathways that students have chosen to take and a fully stocked snack table were just some of the few noteworthy activities taking place at the Reach Higher Event. With congratulations offered by Principal Simmons closing out the event, it’s safe to say the seniors feel celebrated!
